weeks!!

It has been weeks since I last posted. I haven't been sewing much, a cushion cover for our new furry baby and a pettiskirt/tutu/ballerina looking thing for a fancy dress festival for my sister..and I think thats about it!!!



We now have our gorgeous furry baby, we picked him up last thursday and he is oh so cuteness..
He is a 12 week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and he is just adorable, we have named him Oberon 'Obar', he is so great with the kids and vice versa, I think him and Quinn are on the same level, toilet training a puppy and a two year old.. OH YAY!! haha
He loves the heater vents..
hmmmm I think Obar is giving Quinn the look of "that is my heater vent your sitting on buddy"!!

I am such a lazy blogger, I made stuff last week and haven't put it up yet!!

This is a top I made Taegan, the pattern is an Otto..



This is another Otto but I hadnt had enough coffee when I started making it and didn't read the destructions so it changed and i gave it a different waistband. It is a size 1 to 2..

Quinn loves this fabric so he got a long T out of it..

This is only half an outfit, It is the top to a set that I am making for Taegan's cousin Daisy.. I have to get off my bum and finish the pants so I can see what they look like on... CUTE..!

A little bit of Bag!!

Nothing like leaving everything to the last minute... Taegan's friend has a birthday tomorrow, so as usual late tonight I was sewing up a present..
I got some little bead kits to go with it.
The little bag is out of the Ottobre 3/08 mag and it sewed up really nicely..
The purple fabric is some leftover out of mums stash. She made me a pinafore when I was little out of it.. The rest of the fabric is Spotlight..

A weekend of shoosh..

The big kids went away this weekend and the Mighty Quinn decided he would sleep through the day for me... Whoooot
Since Friday night the house started to get productive which has been great.

Friday night Don finished the guitar he did up for Jed's 10th birthday. It started out as a glossy black thing with tacky stickers all over it and he vamped it up to this...


I think it is AWESOME.. he put Jeds initials on the front of the head stock and his date of birth on the back.. Geez my Donni is clever..

On the Saturday Quinn had a sleep and I hit the sewing room and made these cushion covers for mums friend.. woohoo a paid job.. haha


Sunday..today.. I finally finished the suits I was making when my machine broke down....

hmm well

After changing to all the different templates, Don and my sister Devlyn told me they liked the scribe the best, so maybe I'll keep it for awhile untill they maybe come up with some better ones or I figure out how to make my own template.. I'm not sure if I can actually..

Thinking of change..need more colour

Yep I am, thinking about changing my blog theme.. I am getting bored with the brown, I am feeling the need for more colour!!

Polymer stuff that the kids made ages ago!!

I thought I would start putting things that I or the kids have made ....
The kids, Don and I made some polymer beads with the kids awhile ago and then the kids and I sat in the sun and made them into a necklace.. I didn't have to do much helping the kids did a fantastic job..


Just out of the oven...The kids after they made their fabbo jewelry... And what a glorious sunny day... I miss the warm sunny days already.. haha
I think they did such an awesome job, and great colour choices.. :)
