Derby Saved My Soul....and gut...and rear!

The Dolls and I have decided we would share some before and after pics... The change in body shape for every single one of our girls has been amazing, whether they have been over weight or thin to begin with. All the girls even the slimmer girls get more shape, look healthier, look stronger and seem to stand with so much more confidence.
For me personally I feel better than I have for years even pre kids when I was a lot smaller.
I realised whilst looking through photo albums that I didn't let people take many pics of me when I was at my biggest but I did manage to find one in there that was taken just before I started derby and compared it to one taken the 24th of Oct this year (the day I broke myself).
I will never complain about doing another sit up in my life!

A word from the worlds slackest blogger...
I really should update this thing a lot more, well maybe I will now that I have broken my damn leg and cant do much else but sit on my bum while it heals!
Roller Derby seems to have consumed my life for the last 18 months, it has been a crazy awesome journey and have loved every moment...well nearly every!
I broke my leg at a family and friends scrimmage we played in a few weeks ago and have been off it for nearly 3 weeks...I don't think I have ever been bored in my life until now, there is always something to do as a mum or crafter but at the moment I am sitting, reading, smegbooking...I have attempted a few loads of dishes, I only seem to last until my toes go purple and foot feels like it's about to drop off....ahhh well the price you pay for fun hey!

I can't believe August was the last time I made a post!

Lots of stuff has been happening in the land of T, Not much sewing though!

My sewing stuff is still in boxes, I make the occasional thing but not like I used to. We are getting a big bus to park in the backyard to store all of the stuff thats in the back room then hopefully kitchen time!! I am so over cooking on a stove top with no oven..

I am still in love with Roller Derby, I don't think that will change anytime soon. I had a nasty sprain a few months ago that left me with a cankle (calf/ankle) and off the skates for 5 weeks, I managed to keep busy with the admin side of derby for awhile.

This was taken at the hospital about 3 hours after it happened.

This was a few days later, the bruise got worse a few days after this too, it went from my toes and up my leg like a sock!

We had an interview with a local magazine that came out at the start of December, here is one of the pics that the magazine gave us, the team has grown a lot since these pics were taken.

At the moment I dont have anywhere to sew in our new house, occasionally set up on the coffee table but the back doesn't like that much, so until I get a new kitchen and an extra room I wont be doing much! :(
BUT... I have found a new hobby to keep me busy and it is taking over my life, I love it... ROLLER DERBY!!!! OMG how much fun, if I had of known how much fun roller skates were I would have started a long time ago...
So please excuse the lack of craftiness in my blog for a while.. -_-

The groova got some shorts a while back..
This crazy fabric came out of my mums stash from when we were kids...fun!

Little miss got a new purple stretch denim skirt and a cute top.
I am most impressed with my zipper efforts.. getting so much better..yay for me
the purple denim was out of mums stash so sadly limited, and I wish I had of bought more of the pink stretch when I could... but really how much is too much?

I used press studs instead of buttons because Taegan says they are easier... makes my job easier too.. :)

I made mum a bag for christmas, its the Wasp bag that I made a few months back from the very clever machen machen, there is a link in my older post about the wasp bag..

I found some fabulous fabric from spotlight with phoenix's on it..I lurve it!

I used metallic thread to topstitch the bag....OMG what a pain in the rear... not something I would choose to do again in a hurry...

Jeebus it has been ages since I have updated anything...I have been such a slacker since Christmas. I didn't want to put anything up until I had given everyone their gifts...
Anyhoo it is late so I will try to make sense..

I got the Olivia pattern FINALLY and I love it, so cute and so easy and so fun to make...
I made one in a size 2 and the other in a size 6ish..

Quinn was really not happy to model a dress for me.... poor kid the things he does for his mama..!

I can see me making lots more of these......

I made for the little brother of the first Olivia a pair of Ottobre Aqua shorts, they come together really nice..

I am sure I have made more over the last month I just need to think...haha

I try to make presents rather than go out and buy plastic cheap crap that will last a week, so for a little boy turning 3 I made a circus outfit..
I made these shorts last week after finding this gorgeous circus fabric from Spotty, then appliquéd a plain yellow T.. I think the out fit looks great aside from the issues I had with the appliqué...hmmm

The applique goes from the front around to the back..
note to self- avoid appliqué on the sleeve of an already constructed garment!! duh...

Gorgeous and grown up is my big girl... I was going through the school newsletter today and have to fill in her book list for next year and it only just hit that she is going to be in grade 3 next year... OMG!!

My big girl has been asking me to learn how to sew but it is usually when I am in the middle of something..typical! lol
Anyhoo after I finished making my bag the other night I thought I would start by getting her to sew on a scrap to get used to it and use back stitch etc... Ahh such a proud moment!

Next I think we will make a bag or cushion but I will get her to cut the fabric and start from scratch...and not at 7.30 pm....

Don't look at the chaos, you can tell when I have been sewing, my table looks like a bomb has gone off...so does the house actually!

I found a button that had came off one of my fake fur jackets that I haven't worn for years, in fact I think the jacket is still in a box from the last move so when I find it I will take the other button off it for the other side of the bag!! I think the button sets the bag off nice, it now feels more finished..

I love the way this bag turned out. It is The Wasp Bag from machen/machen and the tutorial is from here..
I had a few issues with the destructions but I think it was all me.. haha
Anyhoo, here is a pic....
I am going to hunt for some buttons to fit on the tear drop bit of the handle..

What a day I had!!!
I got up this morning and wrote out a cover letter for the Australian Defence Apparel while I had coffee and emailed it off to my mums work for her to proof it, hopped in the shower got all fluffed up, even put eyeliner and mascara on !!
Felt really confident leaving the house and as I was unlocking the flywire door with an arm full of bits I started to drop them and as I caught them my plastic folder that had my resume in it came up and straight into my open eyeball....MY GOD it hurt and I have a scratch across it, so after cursing crying cursing some more screaming the universe is against me getting a job we go to... hmm well emergency is the only place in bendigo with the eye machine!! whats with that... so off to emergency and it is PACKED even the ambulances were parked across the road because there were 6 in the bays and a taxi already...far out mondays aye the grog has worn off and people have just realised how hurt they are from their weekend!! the nurse said mondays are the worst day!!
After about an hour with a 2 year old and me finally being able to open my eye I spoke to the nurse and she said I wont be seen at this rate till 9pm (it was midday)... So I said I will go in tomorrow and get it checked to make sure it wont get infected and all that lovely eye stuff.. so off we trot to mums work and get the letter app printed and off we go to ADA to be told this is ADI and ADA havent been there for 10 yrs WTF!!! where have I been... hmmm
I wish I had google maps on my phone... the man was lovely and found me a map and ADA is around the corner from my house DUH I am really feeling like a doofus at this stage of the day but staying strong...... finally off to ADA hand my bits in and finally get home feeling like I have had a f**ktard of a day and being miserable.
Then less than an hour the phone rings asking me to go in for a machine test... PHEW all goood...
what a rant!!!
ANyhoo I hope I get this job, its 6 pm till 11 pm on a 9 day fortnight, great with the kids I don't need childcare and when I have both kids at school I can figure out what I'm gonna do when I grow up!!

I'm still not sure about this fabric, it gives me flash backs of happy pants!!

It was $2.50 for 2 mtrs and there were 2 lots so I had 4 mtrs to put to jimjam use.. I used one of my mums old long sleeve T's as the ribbing, her tops are usually still in great nick to re-use into other stuff..

I have made another two pairs for some other little fellas that are the same age as Quinn.. :)

So what horrible flash backs do you get when you look at this fabric..? haha

I think they are cute anyhoo.. I am a really bad photographer but thats ok I sew not take photos for hobby.. haha thank goodness!!
This is out of another Ottobre magazine, 1/08 I think.
I love the way they turned out although I really have to learn to read the destructions because I seem to get ahead of myself and miss important steps..LOL never mind only a little bit of unpicking.
While I was outside taking really bad shots I had a baby magpie come and say hello, there is a mum and two babies that come in everyday to see if there is any cat food left in the bowl but since Obar the staffy figured out he could jump onto the table the cat is lucky to even get some..poor Mishka!!

Arrggg I hope Mr 2 stays down for a snooze today, he has grumpy hours, usually 1pm, 3pm and 5pm since he has started to cut out day sleeps.
I have managed to convince him to go to bed for awhile but I am waiting for the foot steps to tell me I was kidding my self!
I cant go out the front and weed my garden because I don't have a fence to keep the child in and I have a busy road and a reservoir across from us. My front yard looks like a botanical garden of weeds and my roses are shriveled it is depressing.. I need a week of day sleeps from Quinn so I can weed the front and clean the house with out the whirlwind affect behind me. I have forgotten what it is like to clean something and for it to stay like that for a wee while.......here come the footsteps.. bye blogger off to amuse the gorgeous tired tanty 2 year old..

I love pink and black together on girls, I have wanted to make this for awhile but haven't because I don't have a little, little girl, Taegan is growing out of the cutesy sizes.. But one of Dons friends is in love with the skull knit and has been asking me to make something for his little girl for months, so I hope he likes it!!
I managed to find a stray battery lying around to swap with one in the camera, I managed to get 2 extra pics..LOL yes people I still haven't got batteries..I cant even manage to get everything that I put on a shopping list let alone remember to put things on the darn list!!

Taegan got a pettiskirt as part of her birthday present, she also got her ears pierced, she has been asking me for years and I finally agreed.. :o

Wow time flies... It has been 2 months since my last blog.. maybe I should change the name of my blog from stuff doer to slack blogger..!

The kids and dog have grown heaps, I need to buy Obar a new collar he has filled out so much the little boof, he is nearly 5 months old.

Quinn had an accident with his sisters bedroom door and nearly lost the end of his finger..ewww
And I have been doing stuff and have pics to prove it, some arent so good because I have ran out of batteries and had to use my phone.

It has been weeks since I last posted. I haven't been sewing much, a cushion cover for our new furry baby and a pettiskirt/tutu/ballerina looking thing for a fancy dress festival for my sister..and I think thats about it!!!

We now have our gorgeous furry baby, we picked him up last thursday and he is oh so cuteness..
He is a 12 week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and he is just adorable, we have named him Oberon 'Obar', he is so great with the kids and vice versa, I think him and Quinn are on the same level, toilet training a puppy and a two year old.. OH YAY!! haha
He loves the heater vents..
hmmmm I think Obar is giving Quinn the look of "that is my heater vent your sitting on buddy"!!

This is a top I made Taegan, the pattern is an Otto..

This is another Otto but I hadnt had enough coffee when I started making it and didn't read the destructions so it changed and i gave it a different waistband. It is a size 1 to 2..

Quinn loves this fabric so he got a long T out of it..

Nothing like leaving everything to the last minute... Taegan's friend has a birthday tomorrow, so as usual late tonight I was sewing up a present..
I got some little bead kits to go with it.
The little bag is out of the Ottobre 3/08 mag and it sewed up really nicely..
The purple fabric is some leftover out of mums stash. She made me a pinafore when I was little out of it.. The rest of the fabric is Spotlight..

The big kids went away this weekend and the Mighty Quinn decided he would sleep through the day for me... Whoooot
Since Friday night the house started to get productive which has been great.

Friday night Don finished the guitar he did up for Jed's 10th birthday. It started out as a glossy black thing with tacky stickers all over it and he vamped it up to this...

I think it is AWESOME.. he put Jeds initials on the front of the head stock and his date of birth on the back.. Geez my Donni is clever..

On the Saturday Quinn had a sleep and I hit the sewing room and made these cushion covers for mums friend.. woohoo a paid job.. haha

I thought I would start putting things that I or the kids have made ....
The kids, Don and I made some polymer beads with the kids awhile ago and then the kids and I sat in the sun and made them into a necklace.. I didn't have to do much helping the kids did a fantastic job..

Just out of the oven...The kids after they made their fabbo jewelry... And what a glorious sunny day... I miss the warm sunny days already.. haha

I am still having issues with my sewing machine not wanting to sew knit fabrics with a twin needle, I am sick of screaming at it so I moved on to finishing a skirt for Taegan out of woven fabrics!!

ell the legendary men have rebuilt my ute motor... god love em!!
I am excited about driving a real car again, the sort that doesn't drive itself, the sort that you can actually feel on the road and enjoy, the sort that when you drive you know you are the one driving... New cars are horrid for people learning to drive I believe, because they drive themselves, there is no skill to driving there for if you get in a sticky situation you will most likely have no idea about how you are going to get your self out of it... I hope I still have old cars to teach my children the life skills they may need one day!!

Sewing Machine is back...

I have my sewing machine back.. woohoo after 3 and a bit weeks..
I havent seemed to swing into it as I would of liked tho.. there always seems to be something that needs to be done, like dinner or kid stuff.. oh well, I will hopefully get my groove back soon.. I have how ever made Quinn some PJ's and the dog a new jumper!!

Well I haven't posted for awhile.. so I thought I should do some updating!!
I blew up the motor in my 30+ yr old Pfaff... how depressing, I got a phone call from the Mr fix it man and he said he can replace the motor with a 2nd hand one, and told me I deserve a medal for blowing up a Pfaff motor as it doesn't happen that often... I dont know what I did that was any different to anyone else.. maybe the 7+ hrs straight sewing the day before... hmmm I oil it and all the stuff you are supposed to do.. maybe It was telling me I needed a break from sewing for a week or two..
I miss it tho, I have been drawing pictures of stuff I want to construct... I haven't figured out how I'm going to pay for it yet, along with the mountains of bills and the living.. god dang for having to eat to survive!!! ;)
Quinn and I have got a chesty yucko bug... non stop barking till your chest and throat feel like they are on fire..not fun..
Taegan has been doing really well with her chinese Lion dancing and seems to be really loving it.. she is such a visual learner which I can sooo relate to.. She has such a nice posture and a strength about her for a 7 yr old, I think Lion Dance is going to be really good for her in so many ways...
And just so you dont get confused between Lion Dance and Line Dance, this is what I mean...haha

This was some fabric a friend had used as a tablecloth for a shabby chic theme, and this is what I have done with some of it while the child slept... yep thats right he had a nap!!! whoot
I think he is coming down with a cold!!!
Quinn is my lovely model again, he is at the age where dresses don't bother him, Don tells me he is going to be at an age that he wont let me use him as a model soon, or with pink dresses anyway!!

To keep my self busy today so I didn't feel too flat I made some stuff...
To start with I wanted something quick and easy and my little girl is having a particularly old day, I don't know if in some kooky way she is having a rememberence day like my self about Tre'Boy or if she is a little under the weather.. anyhoo I made her a jumper..
She loves curling up on my shawl, not that she curls very well she is a barrel on 2 inch legs!!
I think I might be washing that shawl before I wear it next..

This is my beautiful Mothers Day card that my big girl gave me, I love it..

She Came home from her dads after having a fantastic time at the Teddy bears Picnic in Castlemaine with her face painted, it is amazing.. I think it was actually the Castlemaine Peace Festival...

Taegan's rabbit Custard.. it is her first Winter, she comes inside of the night..spoilt thing!
She is extremely cute, she is a Dwarf Lop, in saying that she isn't so small...
And in the yard, Dont you love the way kids put their bikes away, even when you supply them a bike rack they seem to think this is how you stack the bl**dy things..LOL

I have been busy busy and have neglected the blog once again!! and I still don't have batteries for my camera, I always forget the batteries until I try to take a photo and the camera shuts down!!!
I have sent Don on a mission to get me batteries and a fly swat on his way home from work so hopefully tomorrow I can take some pics of stuff!!
I am going to make a few posts of different things I am doing so I don't fall over my self so bare with me.

I hate it when my babies are sick.. this time my big girl is sick.. A day off school and some warmth and a vegetate in order.. hopefully she will sleep past the crack of dawn tomorrow.. I really dont know how me of all people who thinks the best bit of sleep is 6am to 10am can have kids that get up at 6am!! its no fair, thats the best snuggle under the doona time of day...
Oh wella, I guess it means no going out in the crispy morning for the school run for the rest of us to..!!
Oh gosh I am tired I feel like I am making no sense... I'M GOING TO BED... night xo

Quinn is in his own BIG bed (c/o Grandies for his birthday) and he was so excited when we set it up..
So far tonight he has only fallen out once.. I heard a thump so I went in there and turned the light on to find him sitting on the floor rubbing his head and pointing to the bed saying OOOHHaaah.. So cute, so we read another book and he crashed.. I haven't heard any bumps since!!

Wow, I really can't believe how quick life goes by these days.. my kids are growing up so quickly I could cry..
Quinn turned 2 yesterday and we had a little party for him today..
He is such a beautiful little boy, so cruisy and happy, he makes me laugh my tooshi of most of the day..

My Angel Cake

This child of mine is just amazing... And how beautiful is she in this pic.!
She was a flower girl in a friend of ours wedding and she was sitting in the gutter waiting while the bridesmaids got their pictures taken, and the bride asked the photographer to snap Taegan in such a Taegan pose.. I love it that it is so her. My friend gave me this pic in a gorgeous frame for my birthday, I had a tear, I was so touched.. Oh god I'm a sop I know!! lol

My girl did the most beautiful thing last week..
She came in early and told me to just stay in bed because she heard Quinn up all night crying etc, she told me she has made her lunch and packed her bag and is all ready to go to school when we need to, and she will quietly watch tv so I can get some sleep.. God love her!! she is awesome, amazing and has such a generous soul.. I must be doing something right with this one.. ;-)
She is growing up so incredibly fast..

My Cheeky Chocolattte Boy..

I forgot to put this up the other day..
Now that my nearly 2 yr old is climbing out of bed he is oh so quietly getting into mischief in the mornings...
I woke up to the stench of a nappy needing to be changed and as I opened my eyes I had these brown hands launching for my face..well i nearly back flipped over Don, caught the hands before they touched anything thinking OMFG.. well thank goodness there was the sweet smell of chocolate not what I was expecting...hang on a minute what the!!! Oh god no, I left the drinking choc on the bench the night before... as I walked into the lounge I see the container on the coffee table and chocolate silt all over (cringe), I keep walking into the kitchen where Quinn had beat me to and I found him sitting in the middle of it with a bubble blower making chocolattttte fun!!!! I could not even be angry, I was more relieved that it was choc brown all over rather than poo all over!!!
Oh there is actually a print on the front of his t-shirt it was so thick with choc silt you couldn't see it..lol

My Vacuum wasn't a happy camper after cleaning the chocolate silt.. it was a bit buuuurrry to.. What is it with me and household appliances????

Ice-Cream....

Well the mums on the forum reckon wizzed Ice-cream is the shibang..Well I couln't wizz it for the life of me, it just wouldnt wizz dang it.. i think I stuffed my wizza, its sounding really buuurrrrrish and sparking on the inside....hhhhmmmm honey I broke the wizza!!
I ended up mixing it by hand with my flashy red go faster spatula.. it kinda worked..
here is a pic of what we ended up with once I mixed the m&m's and crushed maltesers in it!!

Hmmmm not so appealing huh!!

Yep thats right... I am really chuffed with these style pants, I like the rolled hem, I should get years out of them I think..maybe..lol.. All except I cant work out how I want to do the waist band, I have tried 3 diff ways so far and not happy with any.. I got some of this fabric really cheap at spotlight so the fabric all up probably amounts to $2 per pair of pants.. bargain!!! I have decided I am not buying clothes for Quinn anymore I am just going to make them, Taegan is a bit harder to please tho!
Anyhoo here are the pants, the darker ones are filthy cause he was wearing them in the yard today but I shook the crap out of them so they are passable for a pic.. and they look majorly cute on him..

Also is one of two baby wrap tops from otto that I made, I made one for a friends little bub Atticus and one for my sis inlaw's bub Elwood..

BOYS CLOTHES!!!

I stayed up way to late the other night making Bat pants for my little man, I am stoked with how they turned out, its a mostly self drafted (I used the measurements off the crotch of another pair of pants).. so I think they qualify as my own!!LOL

My dad dropped off some bags of clothes that were going to the oppy and I found a great orange T-shirt that I cut down to a long sleeve T-shirt and appliquéd(sp) a bat out of my bat print.. I love this print!!

And an awesome lady sent me some fabric that I have made a pair of PJ's for my little man, it is invincible boy print... Way cute!!! there will be more of these jimjams..

We had a Pirate themed birthday to go to on the weekend and I finally used the last of my jack skull knit for a singlet top for my little man.
He is wearing mama made everything today!!

My gorgeous girl got a top out of the Ottobre fall o7 mag.. I really don't like the instructions for some of the clothes in those mags, I ended up winging it and it turned out really nice on her.. I am going to make another for my friends daughter who does not like girly stuff but her mum would like for her to wear some things girly, I think this knit dress might be a happy medium for them both!! I hope...

Oh and my overlocker...GGGGRRRRRR it is driving me crazy.. I cant seem to get the tension right and it refuses to sew with black thread, apparently some machines are funny like that because the black dye in the thread is more dense than in the lighter colours.. it sews with navy blue fine.. go figure!!

Another Bag..!

Well I finally finished this bag for the birthday that starts in an hour!! Thats pretty good really, it means I can have a shower..lol
This is replacing the bird bag as a gift, this will hold magazines and pens and little girly stuff in general. I really hope she likes it.

My Top stitch is straight it just seems to look wonky in the photo, I think because the dots aren't straight!!

I love bags, and I love free patterns..LOL
OTTOBRE design have some great free patterns on their site..
I started making a bird bag for my daughters friend for her birthday but after I finished it I thought she would be too old for it, so I will keep it for a younger girl..
It was the fiddliest thing to make, I am not sure if I will do another. Unless I was asked extremely nicely..!

I also have made some other bags using a free pattern from Ottobre..
A Button Bag and a paisley bag.. I lurve fabric!!!

Skull Knit... heaps of it!!

I bought 2 mtrs of this fantabulous skull knit from Spotlight and have made heaps of things for all the gorgeous little boys in my life.. All there Birthdays are around the same time..

This was my first attempt at Ottobre clothing.. I love those mags..
So this is my little dude Quinn doing some modeling shots for mum in his skull knit top and red cordies..

These are some fun little pants I made out of Drill for my friends little mans 2nd birthday.. They look great on him..
I made a skull top to go with them too.

This is the back of them, I wasn't too sure I liked this style of pockets on the back, but the looked really good in the end..

This is the whole out fit he got.. Very pirateee cool...

Quinn got some shorts with skull patches but I have to iron them before I put a pic up, another gorgeous little boy got a long T and Quinn got a black hoodie with skull knit lining the hood, I also did one for another gorgeous boy who is turning 4 too!!

And after all the Skull things I still have some left over!!
I am really ready to start sewing some other colours..LOL

Well its been ages again and like usual I said I was going to write on here and I didn't!!
Anyhoo I have lost 2.5 kilos so far, not as good an effort as I was hoping for but I have lost 9cm of my muffin top, which fingers crossed I can loose all together.. I am still walking nearly every day and am sewing lots, so not much house work gets done in the meantime.. oh well I am sure when I am dead people aren't going to remember me for my messy floor and unfolded washing..I hope.

I'm a slack blogger!!

Geez I know I am soo slack when it comes to blogging.. I sometime go to write something then just don't have the energy to do it!!
I have been trying to get my self on a bit of a heath fit kick thingy, the first week I have walked or done the exercise bike for about 5 ks a day except Saturday, and ate really healthy, actually had breakfast!! thats huge for me.. Anyhoo, I lost 1.4 kilos and am stoked with that effort..
This week I have been doing about the same probably more exercise except I caved 2 nights this week and had chocolate.. so we will see on Tuesday if I lost any thing.. wish me luck..
I started at 78.7 kilos and my goal weight is to get down to 64 kilos which I feel the most comfy at.. The weight seems to stick to me after my 2nd baby, which was hard to accept because I have never had to worry about my weight untill after my boy..
When I weigh on Tuesday I will make an effort to write in here how I went, Don did all my measurements last week so I will check them too and write them in..
I have been doing lots of sewing too so I will put some things up that I have made too...

Polymer Fun!!

Hi there,

I am really wanting to learn how to make gorgeous faeries, pixies and stuff like that, so I figure the only way to learn is to start playin!!

A couple of weeks ago I pulled out the polymer clay and decided I would attempt a Brian Froud pixie, the one I have tattooed on my tum..

For a first attempt he is okay, he looks a little evil but meh, never mind!!

Now I will try to figure out how to post a picture and we'll be rollin... ;-)

Anywho, this is him..

My Second attempt was a bit tragic!

I was going great guns all day making a wire armature and polymer hands, feet and head for a pixie and it was looking good!! well it was looking ok for a second attempt.....

This is him before he went in the oven... All was going good at this stage and I was feeling excited about my little project..

Then Clutsville set in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was taking it out of the oven I burnt myself on the dish and auto threw the friggin thing and broke the pixies ears off and busted his nose...

Now he looks more like Choppa!!!!

NOT HAPPY JAN!!!

Oh well I'll dress him and put a hat on him and see how he goes... When he is finished I'll post a pic.

Well thats my Polymer rant for the moment... I will see if my mum will let me post some pics of her amazing works that one day hopefully I may be able to come artistically close to..

My First Post

Well this is my first attempt at a Blog, so if its crappy, stiff, I'm sure you'll get over it..! ;-)

I have always thought writing things and thoughts out can always be interpreted differently by people, so if ever anyone is confused about something I have written, please SPEAK UP because I am not the sort of person to intentionally offend people..

Well I suppose I should start with me...

I'm a mum to 2 beautiful kids, a girl who is 7 years and a boy who is 18 months, they are my life..
I have an amazing partner and I adore him, he is totally crazy and I love it!!

I love doing crafty stuff, my mother is amazing with what she creates and I am hoping she retires early enough to teach me her magics..

I will post stuff on here that I have made and works in progress, I might even put my botches up for a laugh!!

Well that might do me for now, my boy will be waking up soon and I should be doing housework!!
